From 5th November and throughout lockdown 2.0 we are operating as ‘close to normal’ as we are allowed. We are following all guidance from Public Health England and our governing bodies to ensure the safety of patients and staff is a priority.
The clinic looks very different during these unprecedented times, with no towels, couch covers or blankets. Chairs, pillows and other items have plastic covers enabling us to use recommended cleaning products on all surfaces where possible.
Many of the therapists also look different, whether we are wearing scrubs, white clinic coats and, of course, surgical masks, aprons and gloves (possibly other PPE) in line with our guidance.
We kindly ask that when you arrive for your appointment you wait in your car in the car park and when the room has been sanitised and fresh PPE is in place, your therapist will collect you, take your temperature and sanitise your hands before you go into the treatment room.
Twenty four hours prior to your appointment you will be triaged by a member of staff who will contact you to check you are healthy.
We ask that you wear a facemask to the clinic – during certain treatments you may be allowed to remove it.
We are operating a ‘one only’ patient in the waiting room due to space constraints – this can cause occasional backlogs – please bear with us if this affects you.
You can book online for many appointments, however if you can’t find anything suitable then please call us on 01621 888080.
If you have any questions with regards to Covid-19 and your treatment or for any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email.
We look forward to welcoming you all.
The Maypole Team.
