Dry Needling
Dry needling involves acupuncture needles being inserted into trigger points relieving the symptoms associated with musculo-skeletal pain, often caused by injury.
A trigger point is an adhesion in a layer of tissue called fascia. Trigger points are thought to increase muscle stiffness and decrease joint movement and occasionally referred pain.
Dry Needling can be very beneficial in aiding recovery and can be used during other treatments.
